Not sure what to say?

Charlene, I was thinking about Tom today (it's been years) and wondered what he was up to. Unfortunately it's not what I expected. I wanted to see if he was still into photography (limited, I know) and talk some trash about our old B-ball games with the Westat crew. I'm so sorry about Tom's passing. You two were so in love with each other, an ideal couple. My loss for not keeping in touch. Ken

Tom's light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those whom he loved so dearly. Clearly he has been an inspiration and joy to many people. Much love to Charlene, Marissa, Nathaniel, Xavi and all the whole family!

So sorry .. sending prayers

Rest In Peace, Tom. You are loved by family and friends always.

I am so sad for the loss of this wonderful man, but also so glad for the amazing family that is helping Charlene. I have known the Stern girls since 1980 when I joined them at the Geographic, and Tom couldn't have married into a more loving family. I admire all of you so much.

Much love to you all.
I believe that every time we think of someone whose crossed over, that their Spirit is checking in on us.
Bless your Soul and your family.

Peace

I had the pleasure of working with Tom and his lovely wife Charlene for about 7 years. Tom was a remarkable soul and never let life's struggles get him down. The love he shared for his wife and family have always stuck with me. I'm honored to have met Tom and will always keep his memories alive.

Wishing peace and comfort to Charlene's and Tom's loving families. Their strengths, love, and support, each one of those family members, are exemplary of what families and marriage should be. As part of a large office family, Andy and I join together with friends of more than 50 years in sending our condolences and love.
