Not sure what to say?

Well, it has been eight months since I lost my father now and it sure has been rough without him. I miss the ole boy a lot. I think everybody misses him. He just made this world and everything in it a better place for all. I wish that he was still around for at least another couple years but that is life. In his own words he always said it is not a perfect world so get over it and move on. I will try to do just that ole boy. But it aint gonna be easy every day without you. Take care up there...

To the Vellanti family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Tom and I have worked together for many many years.
I had a great visit with Tom a couple of weeks ago, he will always be my inspiration. He was a treasured friend and there will never be anyone like him. Tom will be greatly missed by all.

To Velia, Mia, and The Vellanti Family,

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. May the Lord provide you with strength and faith in this time of need.

May Tom and my father, Roger Garcia Sr. who passed away on 07/28/06 rest in peace in knowing that their legacies will live on through the families that they both cared for and loved so much.

To Tom,

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom with me on so many occasions.

Farewell, Tom, may the best always be for your family! It was good knowing and working for you.

Dearest Uncle T, I love you, the casum your leaving can only be filled with fond memories and echos of your voice and laugh making others laugh. And for me, the true love I saw in all your greetings with Auntie Bellia. Thank You and Auntie Bellia for being loving and supportive, always and unconditionally.
Thank you for doing me the honor of walking me down the isle at St.Patricks. And you and I know how special it was for you to allow me to continue to drive the GTO, even after I...

Dear Mrs. Vellanti, Maria, Thomas, Joseph, Christopher,
We all share in your loss and morn with you. Mr. Vellanti was a wonderful man and he truly will be missed. He had that rare " man's man " character and strength about him and it radiated out from his core. Integrity-100%.
Know that God has called him home for his purpose and be comforted in the fact that he is in the loving presence of our Father.
If there's anything any of us can do, please know we are there for you.

I was 17 years old when I met him, so he's always been "Mr. Vellanti" to me. My parents divorced when I was 8, so when I was 'brought into the family" as best friend of his son, Joseph, he was lilke a 2nd father to me. I tell people I'm a "born again Italian" because of the the great influence Mr. Vellanti and his fantastic family had on me.
Love, Chris Miller and Family

My prayers and condolences to the family at this sad time in their lives. CDR Vellanti was in my Coast Guard Reserve unit in the mid 1970's and he was a great officer and a great CO. He treated everyone with respect and he had a great sense of humor and we had laughter in our unit. Equally as important he took a number of us to the old Picciolo's restaurant on Miami Beach for lunch because they had great Italian food. I have a photo memoriam to him online and if you Google his name it...
