Thomas Ward passed away on January 21, 2015 in Seattle, Washington. The obituary was featured in The Seattle Times on January 28, 2015.
Tom and Thea were close friends of my parents, Dave and Muriel Herald. I knew his children Lisa, and Tina. I thought Tom was so warm and friendly. I felt close to the family. It was wonderful seeing them when I attended church at Broadview Community.

A gentle giant indeed. My connection to Tom was through the MAC Handball Club and through his son, Eric, when I worked at the Seattle Athletic Club - Northgate. He will always be part of my memories of the good times there as he always greeted me with a smile and a handshake.
