Not sure what to say?

I was a classmate of Tom's. We were also in Boy Scouts together for several years. We both became Eagle scouts. Tom and I with 4 other Eagle scouts went to Washington DC where we met Chief Justice Earl Warren of the Supreme Court and J. Edgar Hoover of the FBI. I have a picture of Tom, me, and 4 other Eagle scouts with J Edgar Hoover. Our Scoutmaster Dewey Hansen always made sure we got to meet people. It seemed that lots of doors were open to Eagle scouts. Being in Scouts was the high...

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. I think of my dear friend every day. He remains the man I most admire!

I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Wardell shortly after I had joined the staff at Eagle Cliffs Elementary last fall. Knowing he would soon be visiting our school, I couldn't wait to meet the individual that had such a significant impact on the students and staff at Eagle Cliffs, not only with technology, but with overall his presence. Mr. Wardell was well respected by the students and staff, and the school was abuzz anytime he was present. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to...

Tom and I met at the McKinley School when we were in fifth grade. We followed one another through high school, often in the same classes. We rose through the chairs of Demolay and Rainbow respectively so were often involved in joint activities. I saw him several years ago at Mission Ridge Retirement Community where his parents had moved at the same time mine had moved there. I remember his home on Poly Drive and a birthday party or two there. Farewell, Tom and sympathies to your...

Tom was just at our Billings Senior High School 60th reunion less than a year ago. He looked the picture of health and was an absolute delight to visit with. He didn't want this to be our last reunion so took it upon himself to be in charge of the next one. I sent him all the class information and he left me a voice mail saying he had received it and was very much looking forward to getting started. What a shock to lose him so unexpectedly. My condolences to all his family and friends. ...

Tom was such an amazing man. I know his family is devastated. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family. I have never known a man who could command a room like he did. That gorgeous deep voice of his would ring out & those big shoulders thrown back, and such a compassionate sweet man. Such a gentle spirit. I will never forget watching him & listening to him. I admired him as well & loved him deeply even though I did not see him as much as I wished I had.

Dear Susan, I am so sorry for your loss. What an amazing man. I can imagine that it was a truly magical marriage. I am thinking of you and your family. Much love, Alisa Hornstein Haber

I loved Tom Wardell very much. He was the man I most admire in the world. His friendship, his humor, and his grace will remain with me always.
