I remember Tom's contagious smile and positive contributions to the CALL program at Calvin. He and Carolyn were humble co-learners with staff and volunteers. Thanks be to God for their lives and witness.

My sincere condolences to you all. Tom was a good friend to me and many, and served many in his teaching career and in other activities in life. For example, I remember he was very faithful in visitation when we served as elders at the same time. I enjoyed singing the Messiah together with him with the Calvin Oratorio Society and the talks we would have in recent years. I will miss him, as I know you will. But I hope you are...

My heart goes out to Carolyn and the family as Tom is remembered and final 'good byes' are said. Sherman St. Church won't be the same without his quiet presence and wisdom shared when our services return from their current virtual format.
