Not sure what to say?

I recently became aware of Tom’s passing. My deepest condolences to Martha, the kids and their families. Tom was my camp counselor at Beaver in the 60’s as well as my role model and mentor. Under his tutelage I was a jr counselor in ‘68 and ‘69 and a counselor from ‘76-‘79. Tom and Fitzy wrote glowing recommendations and I began my own 42 year teaching and coaching career at Beaver Country Day School from ‘78-‘86. With Tom’s help, I was able to get a job when layoffs were beginning with prop...

I Googled Tom's name today on my lap top. Its July 9, 2018, I just found out he passed away last year. I am so very sorry to hear this news. Tom worked for so many years with my dear old dad, The late Joseph "Joe" Farren at The Beaver Country Day School/Camp.
My father was the Beaver Chef and dining services manager for 23 years. I always thought of my father as the hardest working man in America. Tom was so very nice and a very respectful gentleman to my Dad, and my late Mother...

I know that your family held you close to their hearts and that you will always be missed. I am so sorry that you have had such a struggle these last years.
Peace be with you.

One of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure and privilege of knowing.
May you rest in gentle peace dear Tom. My heart is heavy for your family who loved you so much.

Mr. Welch was a dedicated teacher and coach. He encouraged me to continue with baseball in high school. It made a big difference in my life. He cared about his students, whether athletically gifted or otherwise. My condolences to Janel and the rest of the Welch Family, Walt Wright NHS 1975
