Thomas, I am the grandson of Carroll Bernard Willis, I have always heard his stories. I feel sad that I didn't meet you.

Tom was an old friend of mine from Stanford...he would visit me in Palo Alto and my kids, Ben and Sam, knew him as "Uncle Tommy Texan". So dismayed to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family and friends who remain behind.

Tom's mother and my mother were first cousins and our families shared thanksgiving for a few years in the sixties. I always enjoyed his intellect and his competetive spirit at Wee St. Andrews minature golf course. I was fascinated when he became Lord of Los Altos. I believe the photo is from that article.

We thought of Tom as a part of our family and we enjoyed his visits. He loved to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset on skyline looking over the city. Sunset Tom will be greatly missed by us all.

We're so sad to hear this news. Tom was an interesting, thinking man and we enjoyed his company immensely. He was always kind and thoughtful and we will miss him. Our deepest sympathies to his sister and family.
