Lots of happy memories of growing up together in Holyoke. Tom was always positive, eager to be helpful, and thoughtful of his friends.

Dear Mr. Wheeler's family, My sincerest condolences during this very difficult time. Mr. Wheeler was the best President/CEO in my 31 years at MM. He was a true gentleman and well respected leader. He actually cared about the people that worked for him. He picked a table at lunchtime, no matter who or what level you were and asked if he could join you and the laughs started. RIP Mr. Wheeler. It was an honor and pleasure to have worked for you.

Mr. Wheeler was the best president MassMutual ever had. He cared about ALL the employees and was well loved by all of us. We loved that he came and joined random lunch tables! He was a great and well respected man. My condolences to his family.

Mr Wheeler was such a kind and honorable man. He was the best president of MassMutual in my memory. He always stopped to say Hello to all and sat at different lunch tables in the cafeteria just to hold idle chit chat and ask how people were doing. He was greatly missed when he left MM. My mother also worked at MM during his time there and remembered him fondly. Sandy Kenyon
