Oh my...I am sorry to hear of Tom's passing. It was a pleasure to read his story in the Times..what amazing experiences he had in his life.
Growing up across the street from the White family... I have many happy memories of New Canaan life in the 60's and the 70's...and of course Tom and Tecla (or Mr.and Mrs. White, as we called them) were elegant and urbane in striking contrast to our lovely but very mid western and suburban parents! My mother was always so fond of Tecla...she just...

Tecla, Tommy, Conrad and Nicky, we are so sad to hear of the passing of Tom.......what a nice long and full life. He was a very lucky man to have had such a WONDERFUL wife and great kids (even you Conrad !!! :)) He was well loved by all and will be sorely missed.

I'm sorry for your loss Nicole. Your Dad had a very full life. We never have enough time to do everything we want to do. It sounds like your Dad loved life and did many of the things he loved to do.
We should all be so lucky. Take care. You are in my thoughts.
