Not sure what to say?

Dear Mercedes, Renee, Saint, Jacques, Simone and Elena, it is March 21st and an excruciatingly sad day as it is the first day for me of news of Tom's death. Today, at my new office, I received the letter from Raoul regarding the Tulane memorial service for Tom scheduled for next month. Unfortunately, I did not receive the first notification from Tulane last month about his death. I can ony surmise it must have been faxed to my old office / practice. I immediately called Tulane Ortho today and...

I am a native New Orleanian, who currently resides in California. My mother (Mrs. Beaulah Davis)was a patient of Dr. Whitecloud. she spoke of him often, and was very fond of him. Eventhough I have never had the opportunity to see him, and she has passed on, I know that she would be saddened by his death. He was a truly blessed doctor and soldier. You have my deepest and sincere sympathy. May GOD continue to prosper and bless all of you.

Mercedes and family,
We were stunned and saddened by the news. You have the prayers of all of us here== his childhood friends.
May God grant you strength in your time of need. Bevery and Herman Hall

Dear Mrs. Whitecloud,
I just learned 2 days ago of your husband's death and I am still numb. I was in a wheelchair and told to see a psychiatrist when I met the Chief. He saved my spine, all stainless steel now - and he saved my life. I might even be able to hit a tennis ball again thanks to Dr. Whitecloud. I will love him always; he use to pat my head and say "you're as tough as they come, hang in there." I thank you for your countless sacrificing acts and obvious devotion to your...

Dear Mercedes and Family,

Our memories during the spine fellowship with Dr. Whitecloud and you, his family will forever be etched in our minds. The birth of our first child Abigail, the experience of living in New Orleans, and completing the educational goals were all so perfect. Thank you for all that you did for us. Dr. Whitecloud was alot of fun to be around and always knew how to show us a good time. What Tom was able to give away as an educator has made me a better surgeon....

To Tommy's family:
I have lost a good friend and so has the medical profession. God must have needed a good doctor in heaven. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Mercedes and family: I am sorry I was not able to attend Tom's services. His death was such a shock to me and I know what it must be for you. I just got back home this past Friday, 2/28/03 and I could hardly do anything without thinking about Tom. We go a long way back as you know (since the 4th grade). Tom and I had recently been communicating about his paper he was writing about the surgery he did on my sister. We were trying to get some additional history on her prior surgery. ...

I noticed that my mother had signed the guest book for me, but I wanted to say a few things also.
Dr. Whitecloud was the greated doctor I have ever met. He gave me a second chance, but without pain. His work is so amazing, I am just sorry no one else will get a chance to see the wonderful things Dr. Whitecloud can do. I will never forget him and what he has done for me. To the Whitecloud family, you are in my prayers.

I received a letter in the mail yesterday informing me of Dr. Whitecloud's death. I immediatley broke down in tears. For the past 3 years I could hardly walk and someone told me to see Dr. Whitecloud. I went to see him and loved him. He did my back surgery the morning of Hurrican Lily 9/26/02. Since then, I have called him my hero and savior. He gave me my life back. He will be deeply missed, not only by his family and friends, but by all of the people he gave new life to. My sympathy...
