Not sure what to say?

Joanne,
16 years ago my daughter was killed in an auto accident. I have found that a grief support group of parents who have buried children was helpful. No one else had any idea of the pain. The group I go to is "The Compassionate Friends"

I just heard of Tommy's passing.
I am so sorry.
There are no words for what it is like to bury your child. I know this all too well.
I remember when Tom would bring Tommy to Church at Rockledge Pres. I remember him at my last year of Stetson Music School
May his memory be eternal †

To JoAnn and all the rest of Tommy's family, I am so saddened to hear of his passing. I had not had contact with him in many years, but we were childhood friends. My mother, Jean Frith, was one of Tommy's first piano teachers. Our mothers "swapped" children as students, and I took lessons from JoAnn when we all lived in Merritt Island. I will always remember Tommy as a consummate musician with a bright smile and an easy laugh. My condolences on the loss of this gifted young man.

To the family of Mr. Thomas Whiteside, I was very sad to hear of the passing of Thomas. Him and I encountered eachother on several different occasions, and he always raved about how he had to go and play for his church. I had the privilege of hearing him play the piano on one occasion, and was taken aback by how talented he really and truly was. I will always remember Thomas, and his smile and personality will always live on.

My heart is so completely broken over the loss of my dear friend, Tom. I can still recall exactly how I felt the first time I heard him playing the piano as I opened the door to the choral department suite at Satellite High. Tom was, of course, inside practicing, and already he had such amazing dexterity and depth of expression in his playing. His interpretation of the piece was breathtakingly gorgeous. This was musicality clearly on a higher plane, and I could not help but be transfixed and...

To Tom's family, I was so sorry to hear about Tom's passing, I went to high school with him and we graduated the same year. I last saw him at the '89 class reunion. I remember him as being warm, kind, intelligent and focused on his music career. What a terrible loss. I will be at the service today.

Sincerely,

Mark Jenssen

Dear Mrs. Tuitt (Whiteside) and Mr. Hernandez and Tom's family. I'm so shocked and saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I went to Satellite High with him, was in Choir with him and attended a Homecoming Dance with him. He is a dear soul.

Dear Whiteside family, it was with great sadness that I read of the passing of Tommy. I have not been in touch with him since high school, but I have many fond memories of him in chorus and ten tones. May God be with you in this time of sadness and grief. Let us all find comfort that he is with our Heavenly Father. With much Love to your family Allyson Stott Owens
