Not sure what to say?

As I was making a pot of chili today I added a beer. Tom always said to add a can/bottle to the chili to cut the acidity of the chili. I will never forget what a great guy he was. I worked in the Painter Maintenance Dept. at Glidden´s in the Union Commerce Building. So sorry to hear about Tom.

Jane and family,

I just found out about your father's passing and I wanted to let you know how sorry I was. I will keep you and your family in my prayers as you go through this difficult time. God Bless.

Tom had been my father in-law and a man I always respected as he negotiaited the many challenges we faced over the years. I am especially grateful that he shared his love of nature with my sons and his grandsons. I'll miss you Tom... enjoy walking the trails with Barb once again.

I was a very young D.C. Manager in Memphis when Tom came to call on Union Oil. He "tricked" me into climbing up the side of a big fuel storage tank. I got blisters on my hands coming down. We later became pretty good friends. He taught me a lot. Tom was a much respected expert in the field of technical coatings. He was a good man. God rest his soul.

Eric, so very sorry to learn of your Father's passing. He was an inspration to me, and I learned about the coating business from him. Without a doubt one of the most loyal and hardest working man in the Glidden company. For me, it was a pleasure to work with him, and know him as a fellow employee, and a friend.

It was my privilege to work with Tom in the mid 80's.

He was someone you could trust and always count on.

He was very wise and always willing to share his knowledge and expertise.

His advice was always good and he helped many young people to advance in their career.

I will always remember him with gratitude, great admiration and respect.

With deepest sympathies to his family.
