I was so sorry and shocked to find out about your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
I served in Vietnam (1967-1968) with the 510th Engr. Det. in the city of Can Tho. One of the guys in my outfit was a Thomas A. Wise (US51610970). What a great guy. I know that he was from NY and that he had 1 or 2 brothers that were NY city police officers.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow....
