Thomas Joseph Witkowski

Thomas Joseph Witkowski, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, and an employee of the New York State Assembly before his retirement in 1991, was at rest at St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday, October 8, 2000, following a long illness. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, October 11, 2000, 4-8 p.m., at Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third Street, Troy, New York. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Joseph's Church, 416 Third Street, Troy, with services at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Contributions may be made to either Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Boulevard, Rensselaer, NY 12144 or the American Cancer Society, 7 State Street, Troy, NY 12180.
