Tom was a friend who was always fun to be with. We shared a love of Highlands, NC and our eclectic "band of friends". There was the annual croquet tournament at Jack Kirvin´s Rustic Falls house; Christmas gatherings with Tom, Arlene, and `little´ Peter along with Tasha and her 3 pups; bike rides in Highlands; hikes in the woods with Max and Tom; and then a frosty mug of beer.
