Nancy and Family, As one of the last
living members of the Hooker Family,
Please accept my condolences upon the
passing of one of Yale's finest. Tom represented the very best of Yale.
Rev. Ron Hooker, President of the
Columbus Metropolitan Church Council

I'm grateful I studied under Professor Woods on. He was a generous teacher, thoughtful, and a bit sly. "Oh, you know my wife...she tells me you still owe her a paper." My deepest sympathy to you Nancy and your family.

Dr. Woodson was an extremely kind man, whose scholarly advice was invaluable to me as I completed my graduate studies in English at Ohio State. During my Ph.D. qualifying exams, it was comforting to know that he was on my committee, offering me the support that was so characteristic of him.

He will be missed.

Dear Nancy and family, Please accept my sympathy on the death of Tom. He was a kind and gentle man whom I enjoyed knowing. Marilyn Sesler
