I was so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I knew him during my childhood in Grand Rapids, through my friendship with his sisters Ellen and Anne. The time I spent with the Wurz family are among my happiest memories. Blessings to Tom; his family will be in my prayers.

Tom's family and his many friends at Heartland are in my thoughts. He was such a special person, and he always brightened my day when he would visit the therapy gym the years I was at Heartland. He was one of the kindest, happiest people I've ever met. I will always remember his quick wit & sense of humor. He will truly be missed.

Tom played many games with me when I would visit Joe Bennett. Tom and Joe Bennett were best friends at Heartland. We always knew when Tom was coming down the hall because of his flag and his big smile. Tom had a smile for us always and loved to join in. He will be greatly missed by Joe but also myself. God Bless you Tom you were a shining light to others and will not be forgotten.
