Tom Yerkes was my buddy. He was also close to my wife Sherry whose aunt Juanita had married a Yerkes so was a distant relative. What we take with us of Tom was his sense of humour, His protectiveness of my wife when she became medically ill and when i worked long hours he would take the time after work to check on her before i came home. Tom was extremely loyal to those he was close to. We are saddened that our positive interaction over future years was cut short. We realize though that...
