I worked with Tom and John during the General Foods and Quaker Oats era at the pet food plant. Lot's of memories drinking a cold beer or two after a hard day at work. Tom was always willing to help you out if you needed help. John, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of need.

My heart is so sad....Tom was such a great guy and a vital part of my life for many years...He was a dear friend and confidant ..and dance partner....he was a great conversationalist, had a great sense of humor...and a heart as big as he was... So many memories, so much fun... I am sure he is dancing in heaven... John, I am so very, very sorry for your family's loss.... I know how much he meant to all of you....You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God bring you peace and comfort....

Just heard the sad and shocking news. Such a gentle soul taken from us far too soon. We are so glad we had this time together on Earth to know you, Tom. We will never forget the fun times and talks we had. In heaven you will finally have a chance to ask Carl Sagan which is larger, the galaxy or the universe; you'll be right there among the stars to solve the mystery we had so much fun discussing.
