Not sure what to say?

Allow us to celebrate a wonderful life and a wonderful friend. Tom and I grew up together in Paterson in the '40s & '50s and he added zest and a joy of life to whatever adventure we
found ourselves embarked upon. We continued to talk and correspond over the years.
He will be missed by all he touched as there truly was only one Gaetano (Thomas) Ziccardi. Rest well, my friend.

I worked for nearly 30 years with Tom. Even when the going got tough, he was a pleasure to spend time with. I like to thing that his efforts went a long way to make NJ's public schools a better place to work and learn. He and his wonderful sense of humor will be long remembered.

I am truly sorry to hear of your loss and hope that God will give you strength during this trying time.
I was fortunate in knowing Tom for many years as we worked together in Wayne and were co-advisors for the class of 1961 from Wayne Valley.
It was always great seeing him at the reunions and catching up with the events in our lives. He was proud of his family.
He will be missed, as he touched the lives of many students and was dearly loved.

I was a student of Tom's in 1958 at the then Anthony Wayne Jr. High School. He was our class of 1961 advisor at Wayne Senior High School (now Wayne Valley). I was fortunate enough to see him as a colleague when I worked for the Paterson School System and he was with the NJEA. He was a wonderful teacher: always willing to take time to speak with us. I know he was dedicated to teachers and their profession. The profession needs the likes of him and I know he will be sorely missed.

Marion and family,
We are so sorry for the great loss you have suffered. Please know that our prayers are with you.

I worked with Tom for many years when I was in charge of grievances for the Paterson Education Association.

Tom was an outstanding NJEA rep and a "good guy" to be around. A few times when we were working late after school on some business, we wouold have dinner together. He had a dry sense of humor and a sharp mind that made being in his company a pleasure.

He will be missed.

Sincerely,
Maurice Willey
