Thomas W. "Tommy" Zimmerman, 58 years of age died Sunday November 19th, 2017. He was born December 25, 1958 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Robert Wesley and Dorothy Mae (Coffman) Zimmerman. Tom was a carpenter and woodworker who loved the outdoors, friends, family, having fun and most of all his wife and daughters. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many.
Survivors include: Wife Robin S. (Grantz) Zimmerman. Two daughters Miranda Zimmerman and Taylor Mae Welch (Josh). Three siblings Nancy Hayse, Jane Brown (Steve) and Mark Zimmerman. Also many nieces and nephews.
Visitation 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm Friday November 24th, and after 8:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service 708 E. Spring St. in New Albany. His Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday November 25th, at the Kraft Spring St. Chapel. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Robin, I am so sorry for your loss. Tom was a great guy. I saw him at Jacobi's he came up behind me at the counter. I was getting lottery tickets and he told the clerk not to sell me any and laughed. That smile he gave me will stay with me forever and how I will remember him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls.
