Not sure what to say?

Jeff and I have always had a special friendship. It was through this friendship that I grew to know Tomi. In me, at first, she saw a lost little girl who needed someone to take care of her.

So she brought me home with her to love and nuture with the strength and spunk that only Tomi could do. Eventually, I became (as she once put it) the daughter she never longed for and the sister Bryan never wanted. And my friendship with Jeff continued to grow. Becuase of this, I am no...

Tomi and I were best friends for 25 years. We had many wonderful vacations, shopping trips and conversations . Our last vacation was a cruise to Alaska with my husband Bob and her dear friend Buford. I never thought that would be our last vacation together. I guess I thought she could keep on beating this terrible illness. I see things everyday that remind me of her. She always live on in my heart.

I never had the privilege of meeting Tomi, but I heard many stories of her courage and heart from our dear friend, Buford Beadle. Listening to Buford talk about her helped me deal with my mother's breast cancer which she is still fighting. Tomi's wisdom and love was shared with me by Buford and I appreciate the help it has given my mom and me.

I had hoped to meet her this fall when she made one of her regular trips to visit Buford, but even without getting to meet her, I have...

Thomasena left behind a legacy of love and courage so powerful it touched far more people than she ever met. I am one of those people she never met, a friend of Buford's, who was touched by her. I am happy Tomi and Buford got to go on their cruise to Alaska last summer, that they got to say goodbye to each other, and most importantly of all, that Tomi is no longer suffering and finally at peace. What a tremendously challenging road she traveled.

When Buford called me from NY to...

I met Thomasina through my mentor and good friend Buford Beadle. I learned a lot about her through conversations with Buford. I could tell that Thomasina was a remarkable woman and loved deeply.
My sympathies are with the family and friends of Thomasina who have loss so much. My God bless.

Our deepest sympathies are with the family and friends of Thomasina. We knew Thomasina through our best friend Buford Beadle. We regret that we never had the opportunity to meet her personally. We pray to the almighty to give all the strength and courage to bear this loss.

First, of all let me say to God be the glory. God is good, all the time. I met Thomasena through my dear and trusted friend Buford Beadle. They were a match made in heaven and she will be missed. My prayers and sympathy go out to the family and Buford. Thomasena and I had a common bond. We both had Breast cancer. We shared stories and I was strengthened through her courage and zest to live life. The battle was not hers, but she fought a good fight. God bless.

This is to Tommie, who I should have been closer to longer, but who gave me family and friendship and love. I will miss her every day. the world is better for her having been here.

We send our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Thomasena. We knew Thomasena through our good friend Buford Beadle. She must have been a good mother, a couragious person and a dear sweet friend to so many of you. Our regret is that we never had the chance to meet her in person. She has won her battle and is now with our Lord and Savior. Her children, Buford and all others that loved her will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
