Thora was a wonderful neighbour and friend to my parents for many years. Her tireless community service was an inspiration to others. She has a special place in our hearts - Caloundra won't be the same without her smiling face.

Thora was a Life Member of the Met-Caloundra Surf Life Saving Club for her tireless efforts on behalf of the Club's Nippers. Thora was a stalwart supporter of the Nippers and she will be sadly missed by the many Nippers who prospered as a result of Thora's efforts. Rest in Peace dear friend. Ken O'Connell
