Dear Susan, It is 11:47 p.m. on Saturday evening. You have walked across my mind a thousand times today. I think of all the times we sat and talked at the James. I added the candle in memory of a great warrior. Thor carried the torch of battle against the enemy so many others face. Thor is a shining example of one who never gave up. He will be missed. Jack and I are so proud to call you and Thor our friends.

Dear Susan, Please accept my sympathy. It is with great sadness to hear of Thor's passing. My fondest memories are walking to and from school with Thor and listening to his in-depth philosophies. I am grateful we had the opportunity to reconnect at our BFA class reunion and to have met you. He was a special classmate. My prayers are with you and Thor's family. Judy Moore Luneau (Sheldon, VT)

Oh Uncle Thor,I keep nothing but fond memories of you being the ultimate college tour guide, a dedicated crossword puzzler & a potato chip connoisseur locked in my mind...I will miss you. However if you can't be "here", I'd like to think you're sitting around with Grampy and the rest of the Larsen brothers drinking schnapps whooping it up, nothing but a chorus of baritone voices echoing for miles!!!

Susan--I am so sorry to hear about Thor's death. He was a refreshing, insightful, and original friend to grow up with in Vermont and we had a wonderful 'bonding' summer when we worked together at the Kettledrum Restaurant in Fairlee, Vt. I am glad that you made it back to Vermont for our BFA Reunion and I am happy for the contacts that we were able to make. He will be missed. My heart goes out to you in your loss.
