Not sure what to say?

Dear Thure
As I get older, I treasure my memories even more than in my younger days. You will always remain as one of my most favorite memories. I hope you are one of the people to greet me in my next life. You s as te one of the most beautiful spirits I have ever known.

I much belatedly learned of Thure's passing. The world is a better place because of him and I will miss him.

I just found out of Thure's passing as I am just getting on Facebook. We knew him in the early 90's when he was helping our family business in a land use issue. He became a dear friend to us during those very difficult times. Then as life goes sometimes, we lost touch. But we have never forgotten him and have the fondest memories. He was one of the first people that came to mind when I was thinking about who I would look for on Facebbook. I loved his approach to life. Aside from our business...

I was so sorry to discover today that my cousin had passed. I last spoke to him via internet before i broke my hip in April 2010 and have been in a nursing home ever since. I contacted him years back about our shared STEDT genealogy. I have been researching our families for years.

I knew Thure in the 60's...I loved the way he made people feel special - his eyes would always light up and he was one of the most creative people I have ever known...I wish I had stayed in touch - if I had to pick a handful of people in my life that I admired to the core, Thure was one of them. I shall see you again, dear Thure.

Joanie

We sat next to each other at our reunion and had some good laughs and I thank you for that. I also thank you for your kindness to so many animals. The world needs more of you.

There can't be that many Thure Stedt's in San Diego, so this must be the same one who was in my 6th grade class at Cubberly Elementary School in Mission Village in 1960. I was first alerted to the coincidence of running across an old school mate's name when compiling the list of Veteran's names for the Unified Veterans Memorial Service back in 2002, after reading the heart-breaking obituary for his son Justin. So it was a shock to find Thure's name in the obituaries for this month's service...

I remember your creativity, kindness, integrity and your bravery. May your memory be a blessing.

Thure, I was blessed to experience your gentle spirit at work, and hope that you're at peace.
