Mr. Godfrey was our wonderful neighbor, we were truly blessed with he & Mrs. Godfrey when we moved here in 1996. Our youngest son thought of him as a grandfather, he would "escape" out of the house to visit with him every chance he got. We remember the good ole' days of seeing Mr. Godfrey at different functions. He was caring, attentive and always fun to be around. One thing was always known -his love of his wife, children and his grandchildren. You know he is at peace and that he did live his life to the fullest the way he wanted.
