MOSS, Thurman F. "Bubba" Sr., 73, of Rockville, passed away December 16, 2009. He retired from Philip Morris in 1992 after 37 years of service. His hobbies included NASCAR, auto restoration and woodworking. He is survived by four sons, Frank Moss (Cindy), Jon Moss (Diane), Larry Moss and Mike Moss; one daughter, Rene‚ Yates; brother, Garland Moss (Evelyn); two stepsisters, Eunice Hensley (Jerry) and Shirley Davis (Herbie); stepbrother, Albert T. Moss Jr.; devoted friend, Shirley Ewing; six grandchildren, one great-grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St., where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2009. Interment in Dunn's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia.
