Not sure what to say?

He was such a kind man of God. He helped me through one of the toughest time in my life. He will always be remembered for his kindness his prayers, his help. He dedicated my son Joshua, who is now 46.

I just found out that he has passed. He was one of the best ministers I ever had. God bless!

I am so sad to hear about brother Strange, my name is Connie Peterson, I was saved under his ministry at the First Assembly Church in Abingdon, Illinois. Please know I'm thinking and praying for your family.

Sorry for Your The Passing of Thurman, always a soft voice and gentle. Your in my thoughts Christine

I have wonderful memories of Bro. Strange when he pastored in Jerseyville: doing community VBS, taking the youth group to the Cardinal games, eating out after Sunday night services, soul winning in the park. He loved people and my family loved him and his family. God Bless You Connie, Rick, Mike, and Tim. You have all been a blessing to my life.

Please accept my deepest condolences, he was a great worker of God and he will be missed dearly.

Pastor Thurm genuinely loved his sheep and lead them with the WORD.

Thurman Strange was a great pastor equipped with a gentle spirit. I recommended him to be my replacement as Senior Pastor of First Assembly of God church in Peoria Illinois. The congregation numbered over 1000 and the people wanted his ministry. He with his dear wife Connie went in another direction. Thurm was simply one of the finest people I have ever known. The entire Phillips family send their warmest condolences.

He will be missed. He and his family had always been there for me and my family many years ago.
