When I was little Rev. Hamby was so sweet, and kind to me. He was such a nice man of God. Mrs. Hamby you and Rev. Hamby were like a part of our family, and my grandmother always cared for and thought the world of the two of you. Our hearts are saddened by his going home, but we take comfort in knowing if anybody knows the Lord, Rev Hamby knew the Lord. We love yall and we are praying for you. God will not leave you nor forsake you. He is with you.

It has been a pleasure being associated with the Hamby family as friends and neighbors. We did so many things together, attending church, cooking & eating at each others house and the children playing together. May you be strengthened and comforted in knowing that your husband & father was a Godly man, loving and caring for everyone he came in contact with. Ceasar and Puretha Austin
