Ted Manning was a great friend and colleague. Clinton L. Anderson, Washington, DC

Ted was a loyal friend of my father's (Bob Bradfield) for many years. He provided so much support after my mother passed away, and helped Dad with the transitions in his life. He helped me clear out all Rotary Club paperwork when I was cleaning Dad's house (not an insignificant feat). Ted was a regular visitor of Dad's up until the final days of Dad's life. He was an outstanding person overall and will be sorely missed in this world.

A true giant of a person.

I knew Ted and his late wife Jeanne for over 20 years, and Ted was truly a Renaissance man! He was an adviser, role model and mentor to so many of us over the years. His wit and wisdom enlivened and informed every meeting and event he attended. he will be truly missed.

Ted was wise, kind, warm-hearted and a wealth of knowledge and insight. I always learned something new every time we got together, and his reassuring presence was always a help to me, both personally and professionally. I will greatly miss seeing him in his usual seat at Macky Auditorium during Boulder Philharmonic concerts.

As a member of the Rasmussen College leadership team, I have been honored to have occasion to work with Ted and seek his guidance. I will miss his spirit, his sense of humor and his wisdom. The higher education community has lost a great soul.

Ted was Boulder Rotary Club's resident wise man, go-to guy for all kinds of information, historian, and wit. His unfailing kindness, willingness to help however he could, and example of a life well lived to the very end will long be remembered. Luckily for the Club, he knew how much he meant to all of us. One of BRC's youngest members said, "This is not okay. He is supposed to live forever." And so he will, in our hearts.
