One of Tiata's little known talents was that of a "bookseller volunteer" for the Friends of the San Marcos Library where she shared her humor and smiles with lots of children and book lovers. Her efforts helped us to fund innovative library programs. We miss her warmth, humor and commitment to the community.

I'm not sure what to say about the loss of this very special person. Our families were so close growing up together, including annual Summer trips to Santa Cruz together. I cannot think of Tiata without thinking of her bright smile, that happy laugh, and the many fun memories of our families times together. Mrs. Scambray was my 6th Grade Teacher at Malloch Elementary. When asked who was my favorite teacher in Elementary School, I always answer Mrs. Scambray. So sorry to hear that she has left us. Sincere wishes to her family!! Hugs!!

Were so sad to hear of Tiata's passing. We have great memories of times spent with her laughing, cooking, eating and friendships around the campfire. We will keep her memory close in our hearts.

What sad news, our hearts go out to The Scambray Family. She will be greatly missed by all.

Scambray family the death of a loved one can be overwhelming at times. May the God of all comfort be a stronghold and refuge and make you firm during this difficult time.(2 Thessalonians 2:16,17) My deepest condolences to your family.

Heart felt blessings and thoughts go out to you and the Scambray family. The famous Ratcliff tailgate events will never be forgotten thanks to Tiata and her cooking. So sad to hear of her passing.
