Broomhead Funeral Home - Riverton Obituary

Tiffany Pearl Smith born on May 29, 1981 in Murray, Utah, to Benjamin D. Smith and Carol M. Pappas Smith. Tiffany grew up in Bluffdale, Utah and graduated from Bingham High School in 1999. She went on to continue her interests in Early Childhood Education at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah and proudly graduated with her Associates Degree in 2001.

She treasured many of her experiences as a nanny in Connecticut, as an Oakcrest Camp Counselor and many other opportunities where she made many lifetime friends. She looked forward to any moment she could to chat or have lunch with them. Everyone wanted to get to know her due to her infectious smile and a contagious laugh. Tiffany had a love of sewing and could create anything, even her sister's bridesmaid dresses. Quilting and cross-stitching were one of her favorite things to do that she learned from her Grandmother Pearl, who Tiffany was named after. Tiffany gave great hugs and always supported her Family.

Tiffany survived breast cancer two times and found friends at every step of her journey. Tiffany wanted to help where she could and found ways to serve many around her. She loved to enjoy a good movie and has collected many of her favorites throughout her life.

Tiffany was unexpectedly taken from this life and returned into the open arms of her mom on May 16, 2024. Her family and friends will miss her greatly and will feel the sadness associated with this prolonged separation. Even during her darkest times, Tiffany was always a ray of light for those who got to know her.

Tiffany is survived by her father, Ben (Karen) Smith, and her sisters, Katie (Ben) Steckler, Emily (Jeremy) Green, and Lacy (Daniel) Arnold. She also had 5 nephews and 4 nieces whom she loved very much: Jonathan, Ryan, and Cameron Steckler. Jonah, Payton, and Ethan Green. Kenzy, Chloey, and Kiley Arnold. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Carol Marie Pappas Smith.

We wish to thank all those who have helped, loved and carried her through her many life experiences, especially the nurses and cancer care advocates who took such wonderful care of her.

Her viewing will be on Tuesday, May 21st from 6-8 pm at Broomhead Funeral Home in Riverton, Utah. Her funeral service will be held at the Little Cottonwood 20th Ward at 1160 East Vine St, Murray, Utah on Wednesday, May 22nd at 11 AM, with a visitation one hour prior. Her graveside service will be at the Holladay Memorial Cemetery  4900 South Memory Lane Holladay, Utah following her funeral at 12:30 pm.

All are welcome as we celebrate and honor the life of Tiffany.

Tiff, it was only a few weeks ago that you stopped by unexpectedly just to say, "hi" and share that beautiful smile and contagious laugh. That will be a special memory always. We have known your family forever and are so thankful and blessed to have you all in our lives. Good, faithful and loyal friends are hard to come by. Ben and Karen, we love you and your family and pray the Lord will bring you peace and comfort.
