Not sure what to say?

Tillie and I met at the women’s Tuesday morning bible study at St Dominic’s . At the end of the class our prayer intentions were announced. My intention was to pray for my brother battling with cancer. Tillie would ask me whenever she would see me about my brother, give me a hug and tell me she’s praying for him. She was such a beautiful thoughtful caring woman. She added so much richness to our bible class. I will miss her kind smiling face and gentle way.

My sister and I both had Ms. McCullough when she taught Business English at City College of San Francisco where we were earning our secretarial science degree in the 1970s. Ms. McCullough taught us how to diagram sentences, gave advice on how one would respond and act in a business situation, was humorous, and a classy woman. My sister and I both ended up getting jobs at PG&E after college and have fond memories of having Ms. McCullough as our teacher.

My condolences to the...

I enjoyed knowing a Tillie through the Fine Arts Museums Auxiliary, where she always took such pride and care in organizing the fashion show for the lunches. Our paths crossed later at the Metropolitan Club and at St Ignatius Church. Her sense of independence was admired by all who knew her.
