There are so many things that can be said about this wonderful lady. She was such a wonderful neighbor and friend. Always greeting anyone new to the "hood" with a plate of home-made cookies. She helped make our hood a home to all who moved in. I will miss sitting on her swing with a cup of chai on a beautiful saturday or sunday morning just chatting away or in the evenings to drop off a meal or just sit and talk a spell. Tillie had a bright smile and was such a sweet lady. She gave the best hugs and I will miss those hugs and her goodbye kiss on my cheek when I was ending my shift.
