1940 - 2015 (Age 74)
Notable rock bassist Tim Drummond has died. During his career he recorded and toured with Neil Young, Crosby, Stills and Nash and Bob Dylan. He also co-wrote several songs including "Saved" with Bob Dylan. He was 74 years old.

I met Tim in the early 60s at the Shamrock Lounge in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was working with Eddie Cash & Company. Eddie always referred to him as Tiny Tim. Years later in 1965 I was playing with the JayWalkers at the legendary Tony Mart's in Sommers Point, opposite The BAND and Conway Twitty, and there he was playing with Conway.
