He was founder of Terrell Industries Sheltered Workshop in Hartselle. He also served as a longtime member of the Community Watch Program in the Gandy's Cove community. Tim was a graduate of Decatur High School and received his Master's in education at the University of North Alabama. After his retirement from the school system, he focused on caring for his three grandchildren and enjoyed caring for the cattle on his family farm.

The family would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Hospice of North Alabama and to Amanda who provided excellent care.

Not sure what to say?

I was a student in Tim's class at Brewer high. I graduated in 1989 and worked at Terrell Industries for several years. I am now living in Oregon. Tim was a great man, patient, kind and convinced that people with disabilities could be productive and important members of the community. I was so sorry to hear of his death. David W. Quirk
