I had the privilege to meet Tim Rayburn some years ago as he and I both were in the fire service. Even though we lived in different counties, our paths would cross at various fire colleges, seminars, conferences, etc. as younger firefighters and then later we would be in the same place as adjunct instructors in Western NC. My sympathy and condolences go out to the Rayburn family. Having known Tim through the Fire and EMS system, it was always a comfort to know he had my back on many a call. May he rest in peace.
