For Sean & family: Sending hugs & condolences, remembering Timmy quite fondly, from a member of the '66-'67 Eaglettes Cheerleaders.

We were neighbors at Mesquite C C in Palm Springs and found Tim to be a very humble guy for having been such a great athlete.

My condolences to the Brown family. May God and fond memories provide comfort, peace, and strength to your family, today, tomorrow, and always.

Prayers and BLESSINGS to family and friends

Tim Brown came to Muncie, IN to play football at Ball State. Fortunately for me he was taken in by a very generous Jewish couple (Dr. & Mrs. Cline) as he was an orphan. I lived across the street. As a white, high school girl, it was easy for me to idolize him as a gorgeous star. He was the first black friend I knew well enough to love and he gave me advice that has influenced my life in positive ways. He warned me about older boys and threatened me if I ever got lured into those...

Rest in peace Timmy, my heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones. Timmy was my very first favorite athlete. This is a sad day for me as watching him play football was a favorite part of my childhood. In reading and watching video today, I've found he was a very special human being as well as a great athlete, which perhaps makes me a little more sad, however our loss is Heaven's gain I suppose

I am heartbroken by this news. I grew up in Philly and saw Timmy Brown in-person run back a kickoff for a 102-yard touchdown against the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a class act, and quite handsome. I still have his football card and his autograph on a plaque in my study. So very sad.
