Bud & I are sending our condolences once again for one of our favorite Bears & friends! He always made a good time better! We were out of town & unable to toast him in style! Much love to you all! Whitney & Bud

My name is Lee Hinde, I'm the son of Don Hinde who was University Union director at Sac State from 1973 to 2000. Dad worked with and for Tim during the duration of Tim's career at Sac State. A cousin once told me that the first time his daughter heard adults swear was during a car ride with my parents. That may, partially, explain the bond between dad and Tim. I'd hear occasional stories about life on campus, but I was out of the house during Tim and Dad's time together, so I wasn't...

Tim and I met in 1979 when I was a new Student President (wearing Mork suspenders). He was the Dean of Students. It was a conflict over the student budget. Our conflict evaporated when he agreed with me...in the most colorful language. He also told me he couldn´t do what I wanted him to do...in the most colorful language. At least five former Student Presidents experienced him and loved it. Each spoke, in some way, of his candor, clarity and charm. They express their condolences. He...

Nancy, Tim was such a sweetheart that you couldn't help love being in his presence! He was always very kind and considerate to me. I was glad to have known him. You and you family are in my thoughts.

Tim Comstock was one of the first people who welcomed me to the CSUS campus when I arrived in 1986 to teach journalism. He offered me advice on how to navigate the bureaucracy, who to listen to for advice and who to avoid. His counsel was always on target and given with a clever touch of humor. He was truly one of the good guys.

Tim was at sac state most of the time I was a faculty in communication studies. I served in many roles and respected Tim `s and respected Tim´s advice on all of them

I only got to know Tim in the last two years. My dad worked with his dad in Fresno, but we never met back then because we went to different high schools. Over the last two seasons, we "watched" most Giants games together & wore out our text messaging fingers & thumbs cursing our beloved team & their arch rivals from LA...the ones who one a recent World Series albeit with an asterisk! Bums! We looked forward to getting together over a good burger with Jeff Linder. Jeff & I meet monthly in...

Hi Tim, I´m sorry to see you left the party too soon. You were always fun to be around and spend time with. I´ve got many fond memories of you at the Sutter Club. Take Care Todd Setzer

Tim and I became good friends but time ran out before we ever got to get in person. I will miss him very much.
