Timothy Wayne Downing

It has been one month and 3 days since my older brother passed. Today isn't any easier knowing he is gone. The odd thing is this; my mother, younger brother and younger sister reported having a difficult day on Friday, October 21, 2005. I had a particular difficult day the same day as well; missing Tim and coming to terms. That was the first day I actually cried. We all were feeling the same feelings while as much as 1500 miles apart. Tim's spirit was with us that day.

I can't believe it's been two weeks already since you left us. I miss you so much, my big brother. Rest in peace. The Cowboys won again today! Love, Sis.

Tim was the first of four siblings. Being the second oldest, I always found comfort that Tim would always be there. I will miss him and will always admire his courage and grace during his final days. He was an amazing brother; an amazing man.
