Timothy C. Harrigan

Tim was my classmate in senior English at West Side High. One day our teacher asked, "What is the meaning of 'apropos'?" Tim raised his hand: "I think 'Apra Poe' was Edgar Allen Poe's younger brother!" The whole class including our teacher broke out with laughter. Tim's pun gave us a chance to have a much needed break. His humor was a real gift to our class.
