Timothy Jerome Joyce, Jr., 31, of Charlotte, departed this life on July 11, 2021 at Atrium University.  He was born on October 15, 1989 in Bluefield, WV to Pastor Timothy and Karen "Vikki" Joyce of Charlotte, NC.

Tim attended Vance High School in Charlotte, NC.  He was a former employee of Menzies Aviation as an Aviation Fuel Technician.  Tim received Christ at an early age.  He was a member of Redeeming Life Christian Center in Bluefield, WV, where he played the drums and participated in Children's Church activities.  He was also a member of Spirit of Truth Church, under the leadership of his father, Pastor Timothy Joyce, during the latter days of his life.

Tim leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Zariyah Michelle Joyce; his parents, Pastor Timothy and Vikki Joyce; his sisters, Whitney (George) Dunlap and Timisha Joyce; nieces, Dalaysia Boulware, Marlie Dunlap; nephews, Josiah Boulware, Corey Wilmore Jr., Desereck Isaac and Novah Dunlap all of Charlotte, NC.  Tim also leaves to cherish his memories Aunt Alta (Roderick) Payne of Tallahassee, FL; Uncles, Stephone (Amy) Lanier of Tiffin, OH, John (Lelia) Joyce of Suffolk, VA and Tommy (Sandra) Joyce of Blacksburg, VA; Special Friend, Tracey Torres; and a host of cousins and friends.

Tim was dearly loved by his family and friends and was given plenty of nicknames along the way.  To his family, Tim was called "Boo" and most of his friends called him "Phat."  He was always the "life of the party" and lit up any room he walked in.

To know Tim, was to love him!
