Not sure what to say?

Our deepest sympathy for Joy and his daughters . Tim welcomed us and shared his love and commitment for Kalamazoo´s cultural institutions. He was an engaged citizen and a renown scholar, always curious about people and the world. We were all lucky to have known him.

I'm proud to have been your right hand at K. I treasure our friendship as well.

Libby and I enjoyed our time working for Joy and Tim. I especially enjoyed his wicked sense of humor. There is a little less light in the world now. He will be sorely missed.

Really enjoyed working as Tim's assistant the last eight years of his life. He was very kind and I learned a lot from him. As time went on I started working with Joy also. They both made me feel like I was part of their family. Tim will really be missed.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Tim while he volunteer at Ministry with Community, while I was the director. Tim was a humble man with a terrific sense of humor. My deepest sympathy on your loss. Judy

In the years that I worked at WMU while Tim Light was a leader, I benefitted from his goodness and friendship. I feel the loss personally and as a member of the community he served and supported. May his family find comfort in the memory of his good, useful, and interesting life,

I was an "Asian Studies" minor at Western, and had the privilege of attending three of Mr. Light's lectures. He was a very kind and insightful man. He will be missed by us all.
