Not sure what to say?

Dear Erin,
I will always remember your mom as one of my soulmate friends and I loved seeing you the few times I did over the years. I have the fondest memories of you and your parents when you were a child and loved your dad's crazy sense of humor. He loved a prank and a good laugh. I am so sorry you have lost your parents. Please call me if you are ever in Sonoma, I would love to share my memories with you and be one of your "old" friends. Love, Patty

Erin & other family --

My condolences. Erin, I remember playing with you as a small child and have very happy memories of both you and your father. It is a great loss to us all. I wish you the best and will keep you in my prayers. Please know that many people care and love you and are here to support you in your time of loss. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help. I would love to be in touch with you again.

My Deepest Sympathy,
Alana Tilton...

Tim,

From the day we first linked up as pledge brothers 45 years ago, you were like a real brother to me. We just always seemed to be totally in synch with each other. We were college fraternity brothers, college roommates, and law school apartment mates. Your loving parents even left a key for me to enter their house whenever I wished. We shared experiences on some of our quests that no one else knows to this day.

I just found out that I had lost my lifelong best friend...

Dear Mac Neil Family,

As I read of the tragic loss of a member of your family, I was deeply saddened, and most especially for Erin who was my student at Francis Parker Lower School where I taught art. I remember Erin as energetic, outgoing and a real leader. I last saw her on stage in a perfomance at the Upper School.
My heart goes out to all of you as you mourn the loss of Timothy. Please tell Erin I am thinking of her and will keep her in my prayers.

Erin --
My thoughts and prayers go out to you. May you be comforted by your friends in this time of loss. Your mother and I were classmates and friends at Crawford. She was truly one of the finest people I've ever known. May God bless you.

To Tim's Family,

Time helped us through one of the most stressful crises in our lives recently and we remember him with gratitude and fondness. Words are inadequate to describe the impact of such an excruciating and traumatic loss. We pray that you may somehow find the comfort and support you need to get through this time.

Erin -

My deepest sympathies are with you and all of the MacNeil family.

Tim -

I never realized how much I missed your face & your sense of humor ... until it was too late. When we worked together at the District Attorney's Office in the early 70's you were such a crack up! You could look so serious in your 3-piece suit one second, and then have people falling off their chairs in laughter the next.

You will be sorely missed.

"A heart that touches another...

Dear MacNeil Family:

I am so sorry to hear of the losses you have had in the most recent past and now Tim. I went to Crawford High School with Barbara and we absolutely loved her. Noone will ever forget Barbara Lamb. And certainly noone will ever forget Tim. May the Lord bless your family.

Tim was our landlord. He was always there when we needed help and we always enjoyed talking with him. He was a good man, kind, gentle, helpful. We are still in shock and our hearts are filled with sorrow. We will miss him deeply.
