Dear Mrs. Menees, I was so sorry to read of your son's passing. You taught our son, Richard, in kindergarten & first grade at St. Valentine's. He passed away almost 6 years ago, so I know the loss you feel. Please know that I will keep you & your family in my prayers.

Many prayers and thoughts to the entire Menees family and all of his many friends. I knew Tim years ago, but he had the most amazing personality with a passion for music and life that kept him in my thoughts often. Thinking of all of you in this very difficult time.

I only met Tim this past Christmas. I had heard so many great things about him and his family. I also knew how happy he made my cousin Kathy When I finally had a chance to meet Tim ,my husband Pat and I knew we had not only met a new member of the family but we had just met a new friend. Tim, I'm so sorry you have passed so young.We can only live as God choses, we never how short life can be. I wished we did a better job keeping in touch.I will be visiting your grave as much as I can. I will drink a nice cold beer occasionally in your honor as well. Marcus McBurney

Today's web shows longtime Homestead, PA Mayor Betty Esper at a fire in her town; it would be hard to imagine Homestead without Betty as it's a bit much thinking of how much we miss the one & only Timmenees, another Pgh. institution. God bless his family & friends. Take care.
