Not sure what to say?

A number of years ago , When my son was the CO Of the USCGC cutter TIGER SHARK based out of Newport RI at Goat Island , Tim became a life long and very devoted friend. Just several weeks ago Grant traveled from Kodiak Alaska to Newport on Coast Guard orders and made time to visit with Tim. His passing was a tremendous loss. I will always cherish his including us in Thanksgiving dinner when I came from Kentucky to visit Grant for the holidays when he was new to the area. . My other...

A fellow sailor, adventurer, biker, and best friend. I'm still at a loss for words, "Fair winds and following seas" my brother...

I was associated with Tim both professionally and personally for the last 12 years. I will always remember him as a smart, conscientious mariner who would help anyone, anytime - a true gentleman who will be greatly missed. A tremendous loss to the Rhode Island Harbormaster community.

Cluster of 50 Memorial Trees

Tim was a kind, thoughtful person and a wonderful supporter of S.A.L.T.Y. (Seamanship And Leadership Training for Youths) and all our sailing adventures visiting Newport, especially our Gold Star Teen Sailing Healing/Sailing Program, youths who have lost a military mom or dad. He touched the loves of so many and will be greatly.

Honored to share so many life experiences with Tim - he was a person you wanted to be around. One of the most beloved Fijis of our era. We will all miss that laugh, but we will never forget it.

Ride on Brother, higher than Pikes Peak this time! Rich & Jen

They took you away too soon Tim. I'll remember the good times we had at the Phi Gam. I'll see you someday in the great beyond. Proud to call you a Fiji Brother! My condolences to the Mills family.
