Timothy "Tim" Harold Nelson, age 71 of the Westel community in Rockwood, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Tim is preceded in death by his son: Eddie Nelson of Oakdale; his brother: Steve Nelson of Rockwood; his sister in law: Donna Nelson; and his parents: George and Bonnie (Oakes) Nelson of Rockwood.
Tim was an avid outdoorsman who absolutely loved to fish and hunt. If he wasn't at home, you could probably find him in the woods somewhere or on the lake.
He is survived by:
Sons: Paul (Holly) Nelson of Rockwood, Anthony (Angel) Nelson of Harriman, TN
Daughter: Samantha Gregory of Rockwood
11 Grandchildren that he adored, along with 6 great grandchildren
Daughter in law: Victoria Nelson of Oakdale
Brother: Mike Nelson of Sunbright
Sister in law: Evelyn Nelson of Rockwood.
Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at 6:00 pm ET in the Mt. Teman Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside and interment service with Pastor Carl "Sonny" Johnson officiating. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Timothy "Tim" Harold Nelson.
