Jared Anthony Benson, age 37, of Rockwood, Tennessee went to be with the Lord after passing unexpectedly in the early hours of October 30, 2025. He was a native of Blountville, Tennessee and graduated from John S. Battle High School in 2006. Jared received his Welding Certificate from Northeast State Community College. He was employed as a Quality Control Technician at Rogers Group and was a member of the Whites Creek Baptist Church in Rockwood. Jared was an avid sports fan who loved U.T. and Dallas Cowboys football as well as NASCAR. He immensely enjoyed his Skoal and Dr. Enuf, and playing Fantasy Football with family and friends. Above all else Jared love his family, whether it was coaching Lexi and Wade in basketball, playing Legos, or just snuggling “his blue-eyed baby girl, Kobee. He was happily married to his soulmate Donna for over 14 years, and they had worked together to create the life and family they had always wanted. Jared was a wonderful Husband, Father, Son, and Friend and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Pastor Roger Britton officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery, 839 Bluff City Highway, Bristol, Tennessee 37620 for Graveside services and interment with Rev. Johnny Mink officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Whites Creek Baptist Church; 131 Abels Valley Road, Rockwood, TN 37854. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Jared Anthony Benson.
