Timothy O'Shields age 58, of Pensacola passed away August 20, 2023. He was born October 5, 1964 in Hialeah, Florida the son of Robert O'Shields and Betty Boswell Mitchell. Tim was a 1982 graduate of Paxton High School. After graduating Tim enlisted in the U.S. Marines and faithfully served his country for 9 years. Tim worked as CDL instructor for Pensacola State College. He enjoyed racing and was a driver for David Tau Racing. Tim was an avid fisherman and musician. Tim's life epitomized YOLO ("You only Live Once"), and he loved every second of it. He was preceded in death by father, Robert O'Shields.
He is survived by loving companion, Stephanie Smith, mother, Betty Tucker Mitchell, daughters, Alex O'Shields, Sydney O'Shields, Bella O'Shields, sisters, Laura Jordan, Robin Lawhon and Cindy O'Shields, special bonus children, Roxanna Cloutier, Kelly Ezell, Tiffany Blackman and Alicia Smith, son, Trey Bankston, grandchildren, Keagan Allen, Greyson Allen, Xavier Crockett, Xander Barajas, Xayden Barajas and numerous other bonus grandchildren. He is also survived by Elaine O'Shields mother of his daughters.
Funeral services for Tim O'Shields will be 2PM Friday August 25, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with John Lovelady officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be at Clear Springs Cemetery with Military Honors.
