Tim and I were classmates at Fitch and played volleyball together for about 10 years. He was a terrific person and always a joy to be around. He will be sorely missed by many. My condolences to his family.

Tim, such a gentle and kind man...the world is a lesser place without you in it but is a much, much better place for having had you here for 67 years...I always felt you were a little wiser, knew a little better, had seen a little more but never made anyone feel lesser for your wisdom...I will miss you deeply...love you, step-bro... Please accept my sincere condolences on Tim's sudden and sad passing. When we ran into each other we were called Tim squared. I will miss him.

My sincere condolences to the Porter family. Tim was my friend since junior high school when we moved to Mystic/Noank at the same age. We had a lot of fun growing up together (except when we worked at Abbott´s and found ways to constantly get into trouble with Ernie). As I often say when an old friend passes suddenly, I wish I had made a better effort trying to stay in touch over the years. That was especially true with Tim. Cheers to Tim, you will be missed by many.
